New version of Web 2.0 Directory script was just released.

New functionality and features:

• Membership packages module. Now site admin may concatenate listings levels in packages, this allows users to pay onetime only for package which contains different numbers of listings or include unlimited number of listings. Also packages settings allow to choose 2 modes of packages functionality: 1. only membership packages; 2. both methods of listings creation - under membership packages and standalone/independent listings.
• Discount coupons module. Using it admin opens giant marketing resources of website based on Web 2.0 Directory script. Discount coupons configuration includes following settings: goods types (listings, banners, packages) which allowed to recalculate price according to discount; percents or exact value type of discount; active period of discount; total usage count limit and per user usage count limit (be carefull with these options when you assign coupon to user - total usage count limi must be greater than per user count or unlimited); you may allow users to use coupons only when they assigned with these coupons or set to use without assigning (for example you may public coupons somewhere outside the site); also set assigning events (discount coupons send to users when these events raise + any coupon may be assigned manually by admin).
• Predefined locations. Now locations of directory divided into 2 types: predefined and global. When the site connected with google maps - users may choose locations for their listings globaly. Also site admin may manage predefined locations by levels (e.g. coutry, state, city). When predefined locations are in use - labeled locations will apper in navigation block on the home page. Also search by location available.
• Claim listings option. Listing author is able to set ability to claim to any listing during creation or edition. When 'claim listing' option checked - users allowed to make claim request. Then listing author may approve or decline claim. So site manager may delegate full rights for any listing to any user.
• Content permissions. In this version site manager can set up permissions not only to directory functions, but also to content types. For example 'News' ot 'Blog' listings types - typically such listings may be created by certain groups of users, so usual members just allowed to view such listings, site editor allowed to add/edit/manage.
• Remote banners + flash banners feature. Advertisers add remote banners either of images formats (jpg, gif, png) or of flash format (swf).
• Titles templates. This feature quite usefull for SEO. Listings may have titles other than entered by user, configure titles using provided templates: %CUSTOM_TITLE% - title entered by user; %LISTING_ID% - unique listing ID; %USER_LOGIN% - listing author's login; %USER_EMAIL% - listing author's email; %FIELD_field seo name% - value of additional content field; %CATEGORY_1, 2, 3, ....% - categories by number assigned with this listing; %CATEGORIES(glue)% - all categories assigned with this listing, concatenated with 'glue'; %LOCATION_1, 2, 3, ....% - locations by number assigned with this listing; %LOCATIONS(glue)% - all locations assigned with this listing, concatenated with 'glue'. For example with such template "%CUSTOM_TITLE% - %FIELD_PRICE% | %CATEGORIES( - )% in %LOCATION_1%" the result may be: BigMc Cafe - $ 10.00 | fast food - hot dogs in Chicago
  
• Users pages and users logos. According to users groups settings - each account of group may have own page at the frontend. Users may upload images as logos or assign facebook logos to their accounts.
• Internationalization design themes and other settings. Any language in the system may have different design theme, decimals separator, thousands separator, date format, time format and flag icon.
• Lots of other new and improved features like: report listing option, 'Listings of user' block, 'Similar listings' block, new images gallery, improved reviews block with richtext editor option, ability to order listings by reviews/comments number, by last review/comment date-time or randomly. 90% of source code was refactored and improved. This makes customization more easy.

Upgrade instructions are in 'updates/update_v251_to_v300/readme.txt'. Documentation for new version will be rewriten and completed quite soon.
